About The Dentist Terry H. Vibbert, D.D.S., F.A.G.D. has resided on the north side of Evansville,IN for most of his life. He attended Harwood Grade School, Central High School, and the University of Evansville, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1985. After graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry, in Indianapolis, 1989, he joined the United States Public Health Service. Dr. Vibbert served two years at Barrow Hospital, In Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost town in the United States. While in the PHS, he received several outstanding awards for his contribution to the dental health of the Eskimo people, including: In November of 1991, Dr. Vibbert returned to his hometown of Evansville to build his practice. Special consideration was given to infection control. The practice officially opened July 1, 1992. Beginning in August 1998, Dr. Vibbert acquired the rental space next to his office and began the addition of three more treatment rooms and a larger more accommodating reception area, the new addition opened in mid-January 1999. The store front sign announces the redesigned office as "the Village Dentist." During the summer of 2003, Dr. Vibbert received the Fellowship Award of the Academy of General Dentistry at the AGD Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Vibbert has maintained his membership with the AGD since his dental school graduation in 1989.
